What We Do
WHAT WE DO
Daughters of Cambodia empowers individuals trapped in the sex industry to break free and build new lives filled with dignity, healing, and the means to thrive.
In Phnom Penh’s red-light districts, we offer a life-changing path to freedom for girls caught in exploitation. Through employment in our ethical social enterprises and comprehensive recovery programs, including social work support and health services, we provide a foundation for sustainable change. Unlike institutional shelters, we prioritize empowering these young women to reintegrate into their communities and maintain strong connections with their families.

Since our founding in 2007, we’ve helped over 850 girls successfully leave the sex industry and start new lives.
Our Visitor Centre in Phnom Penh invites the community to support our mission by exploring our retail and service spaces, which showcase products made by those we empower. Visitors can also participate in guided tours to learn more about our impact.
As a faith-based organization, we follow Jesus Christ, who inspires and guides our mission. We teach the Christian message in our on-site church and discipleship programs to those who wish to attend.
